These events will cover the following:
IQ testing is frequently
used to determine eligibility for special education and programming that
a child receives. This workshop will focus on different measures of IQ, a
comparison of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Third and Fourth
Editions, and on issues related to interpretation. It will also focus on
the role of IQ testing as considered in IDEA 2004.
